For any questions about this policy or the way your personal data is handled, you can contact me at the email address above.
2. What personal data may be collected?
Depending on how you use the website or contact me, I may process information including:
-
your name and email address;
-
information you provide when contacting me or booking an introductory call;
-
correspondence between us;
-
information necessary to arrange or provide services;
-
technical information associated with use of the website, such as IP address, browser or device information and cookie data.
-
If you choose to provide information concerning your physical or mental health, this may constitute special-category personal data under applicable data-protection law.
Please avoid providing detailed medical or health information through website forms or when booking an introductory call unless it is necessary. Relevant information can be discussed directly where appropriate.
3. Why is personal data processed?
Your personal data may be processed in order to:
-
respond to enquiries and communicate with you;
-
arrange and manage introductory calls;
-
take steps requested by you before entering into an agreement for services;
-
provide agreed services and manage the professional relationship where applicable;
-
meet legal, accounting or professional obligations;
-
maintain the security and proper functioning of the website;
-
establish, exercise or defend legal claims where necessary.
The legal basis for processing will depend on the circumstances and may include taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests or consent where consent is required.
Where special-category personal data is processed, it will only be processed where an appropriate legal basis under applicable data-protection law is available.
4. Booking an introductory call
Introductory calls are booked using Google Calendar and may take place using Google Meet.
When you make a booking, information such as your name, email address, chosen appointment time and any information you voluntarily provide in the booking form may be processed through Google services.
Please keep information entered into the booking form brief and avoid including detailed medical or health information.
Google provides data-processing arrangements for Google Workspace customers, including its Cloud Data Processing Addendum.
5. Website hosting and service providers
This website is hosted using Wix.
Wix may process technical and other information necessary to provide, secure and operate the website. Wix describes website owners as controllers of their visitors' data and Wix as a processor when processing customer data on their behalf.
I may also use trusted service providers where necessary to operate YOURSELF and provide services, including providers of website hosting, email, scheduling, videoconferencing and IT services.
Personal data is shared only where necessary for the relevant purpose or where required by law.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, appropriate safeguards required under applicable data-protection law are used. Wix, for example, states that its infrastructure includes locations both within and outside Europe and that applicable safeguards are used for relevant international transfers.
6. How long is personal data kept?
Personal data is kept only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for any period required by applicable legal, accounting or professional obligations.
The appropriate retention period may therefore vary depending on whether you are a website visitor, have made an enquiry, booked an introductory call or become a client.
When personal data is no longer required, it will be deleted or securely anonymised where appropriate.
7. Your data-protection rights
Subject to the conditions provided by applicable law, you may have the right to:
-
access your personal data;
-
request correction of inaccurate data;
-
request deletion of your personal data;
-
request restriction of processing;
-
object to certain processing;
-
request data portability where applicable;
-
withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority. In Poland, this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych — UODO).
To exercise your rights or ask a question about your personal data, contact hello@yourselfpsychology.com.
8. Cookies
This website uses cookies and similar technologies.
Some cookies are essential for the website to function securely and correctly. Other cookies may be used for purposes such as functionality, analytics or understanding how visitors use the website.
Where required by law, non-essential cookies will only be used after you have provided your consent.
You can manage your cookie preferences through the cookie settings available on the website.
Because the website is built using Wix, certain essential cookies may be placed by Wix to provide functions including security, fraud prevention, stability and core website functionality. Additional integrations added to the website may use additional cookies.
9. Changes to this policy
This Privacy & Cookies Policy may be updated from time to time, for example if the services offered through YOURSELF change or new tools or service providers are introduced.
The current version will always be available on this website, with the date of the latest update shown at the top.
