Psychology, coaching and experience of how people actually work and live.

Hi, I'm Agata.

I created Yourself to bring together different parts of my professional and personal experience: psychology, coaching, leadership, international business and an understanding of what it means to build a life across cultures.

My professional path has taken me through both psychology and the corporate world. For more than 12 years, I have worked in international business environments with people across different countries, cultures and levels of organisations.

Along the way, I have led teams, coached professionals, delivered career development sessions and workshops, supported workplace mental health initiatives, led a mental health community and worked with people and organisations navigating change.

Those experiences have given me something I value enormously in my work today: an understanding of people that doesn't stop when they enter the workplace — and an understanding of professional life that doesn't ignore the person living it.

A Foundation in Psychology

Psychology has been a consistent thread throughout my professional life.

I completed my Master's degree in Psychology at Jagiellonian University in Cracow, graduating with distinction and receiving a scholarship for academic achievement. My studies included specialist training in clinical psychology and sport psychology, giving me perspectives on both psychological difficulties and human performance.

My interest in applying psychology beyond the classroom started early. During university, I was involved in the trainers' section of our psychology scientific circle and wrote for Stimulus, a student psychology magazine. I also spent a semester studying at KU Leuven in Belgium through the Erasmus programme.

I later completed postgraduate studies in Psychodietetics at SWPS University and have continued developing my psychological practice through additional training, including cognitive behavioural approaches.

Looking back, there is a clear thread connecting those early experiences with the coaching, facilitation and psychological work I do today.

Psychology in the Real World

My career gave me the opportunity to apply psychological thinking in a very different environment.

Over more than 12 years in international business, I gained experience in people leadership, coaching and career development, facilitation, workplace mental health and organisational change. I have worked with professionals at different levels and with teams operating across countries and cultures.

I'm also a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, which complements my psychological background with a structured understanding of how change works within organisations.

This experience matters to the way I work today. When someone talks to me about workplace pressure, leadership, career uncertainty, confidence, performance or difficult organisational dynamics, I don't understand those experiences only theoretically. I understand the environments in which they happen.

And when I work with organisations, I don't lose sight of the individual people experiencing them.

That intersection — person and organisation, wellbeing and performance, psychology and working life — is an important part of what I bring to my work.

How I Work

My psychological approach is strongly influenced by cognitive behavioural thinking: understanding the relationships between our thoughts, emotions and behaviours, recognising patterns and finding practical ways of responding differently.

But professional knowledge is only one part of effective work together.

I don't believe psychological support or coaching needs to feel distant, clinical or hierarchical. I want you to be able to show up as yourself — and I believe I should be able to do the same while remaining firmly grounded in my professional role.

That's where TAP — Trust, Authenticity and Partnership — comes in.

I bring psychological knowledge, coaching experience and perspective. You bring something I can never have: expertise in your own life.

We work from there, together.

An International Perspective

My international perspective isn't only professional.

I have lived and worked across cultures for years, studied abroad and am in an intercultural marriage myself. I know that living internationally can be exciting and enriching while also bringing questions that aren't always obvious from the outside — about identity, belonging, relationships, communication and where “home” is.

That lived experience doesn't mean I assume I know what another person's international experience is like. It does mean that I recognise its complexity.

It's particularly relevant to my work with expats and internationally mobile people, but it reflects something broader about how I work: people make more sense when we understand the context of their lives.
